My Hope is Alive

Shadia was 15 years old when she left Burundi. She left with her mother and 5 siblings. A large number of people were fleeing from the insecurity that was happening in the Country at the time. Due to all the commotion, she lost touch with her mother and siblings and has never seen or heard from them since.

Barthelemy Mwanza

My name is Barthelemy Mwanza Ngane originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo but currently living in the United States of America. I was granted a scholarship by the Worldwide Women’s Forum to study Journalism and Media studies with ABMA in 2019 and I completed my advanced diploma.
